SESPA General Meeting- Thursday

SESPA Blog has an announcement of the General Meeting coming up this thursday, Oct 28th at the Parkwood School.

SESPA Demonstration at Shoreline Conference Center, August '10

The Union has been engaged in a several months struggle to arrive at a contract agreement with the
Shoreline School District.  SESPA members have been outraged by the lack of cooperation from the SSD on this contract process. There was concern expressed about the lack of respect they were receiving from the district, and the implied threats that hours and jobs may be cut.

They've held several informational demonstrations and spoken out at several School Board Meetings.
One member said at a School Board meeting in September "The Shoreline School District is a Cult of Deception!"

They are now urging members to attend this next meeting on Thursday to vote on the proposed contract.

Here's hoping the contract agreement is finalized to the liking of the most members, for their families and
the students sake.

General Membership Meeting 10/28/10

Dear SESPA members,
We will have our general membership meeting on Thursday 10/28 @ 4:30pm @ Parkwood Elementary in the Gym, Parkwood is on the corner of 155th and Wallingford.
Please come, we will be letting you know about the Tenetative Agreement with the District and to vote whether or not to ratify it.
