Lots of Voting at Drop Box at LFP

Publicola reports record lines of voters at Union Station polling place!

Meanwhile in Lake Forest Park, voters were also arriving at a good clip.

Ballot Drop Box next to  LFP City Hall
At 4pm on Election Day
we counted 80 voters depositing their ballots in 15 minutes!

Seems like a pretty respectable number.
I recall in 2008, a large turnout at my polling place. But this does seem like a good showing for a "midterm" election.

So, it's a good idea to take your ballot to the drop box, since you won't have to find a stamp and get it in the mailbox by 5:30.
You have until 8pm.

But watch out for the photo enforcement traffic cameras next to Brookside School on  your way down the hill!! They mean business!

Best of luck with your candidates and issues!

Stay tuned for more results later tonite. King County is scheduled to be the center of the universe for Democrats hoping to hold the US Senate.  Check King County Elections site for more information. or check our post yesterday on ballot drop boxes in King County.
