Thoughts for Haiti
Haiti needs our help.
We are all devastated by the incredible tragedy in Haiti. The dimensions of the crisis are very hard to grasp. Millions of people there are affected. Heartbreaking stories and devastation.
Fortunately there are dozens of countries and Non-Profits who are responding.
Without getting into much detail, it is very important for folks to lend a hand by sending funds. President Clinton said today and even a small amount would help.
Here are some suggested organizations courtesy of "Upper Left" -
http://upper-left.blogspot.com/2010/01/haiti.html
• American Jewish World Service
• American Red Cross
• AmeriCares Help For Haiti
• CARE
• Doctors Without Borders
Will try to cover in more depth tomorrow, but will say a prayer for the poor people caught in this tragedy tonite.
Best Wishes and grateful to have a roof over my head.
