Elwha & Snake River Dams -
A Tale of Two Rivers

REI Seminar

Flagship Store - 222 Yale Ave North, Seattle

Tuesday, May 24th

Smoked wild salmon and beverages will be available

THE ELWHA RIVER
Come celebrate the ground-breaking
removal of two salmon-killing dams on the
Elwha River and learn about how Northwest
activists successfully built a coalition that
transformed a “radical idea” in the 1970s to
what will be the nation’s biggest river restoration
project yet.

THE SNAKE

Join us for the Seattle premiere of The Greatest
Migration – a beautiful 22-minute  lm
that traces the epic migration of Snake River
salmon. Get the latest on the campaign to
remove the four lower Snake River dams and
reconnect wild salmon and steelhead with
their spawning grounds in the largest, coldest,
wildest and best-protected salmon habitat
in the Lower 48.

Guest speakers: Michael Garrity, Shawn Cantrell, Joseph Bogaard

Sponsored by:
