Billion Acts of Green - Start TODAY!

Earthday 2010 - 40th Anniversary

DO something!

Today marks the beginning of Earth Week.  It is the 40th Anniversay and a pretty big deal.
As a personal note, I was actually a participant in the original Earthday back in 1970! So I guess that makes me an Earthday "geezer"! Oh well, could be worse! At least I'm still here!

So many great ideas and choices for things YOU can do to make a difference. Here is a sampling of local events. You can go big, or just do some simple things, like buy local, plant a garden or a tree (or TWEET for Trees), or buy some green products. Check out the Earthday 2010, Billion Acts of Green site for lots of ideas. Also Check out Earthcorps for their many offerings this month.
