Solar Cooker Workshop "Hot Stuff"

The Solar Cooker Workshop, held at the Richmond Beach Library last week was a huge success.
At least, it seems that way from the satisfied "customers" who attended and created their own "cookers".

Ever since we've been hearing from attendees about the fabulous cooking experiments they've reported.

Over 26 enthusiastic participants attended and built their own solar cooking device and then went home and started making cakes and all manner of dishes.

Linda Stein, of Highland Terrace neighborhood was the organizer, and is now organizing another class to be held at University Heights Center, August 28th. Contact Linda for more details.

Richmond Beach Library: From Aurora, turn West on 185th Street  and go 2 miles. Library is on the right, just past the entrance to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, which is on the left. 185th Street turns into Richmond Beach Road and it curves around alot. When you see the "Little Store" on your right at an intersection, the library is just a bit farther.
