Dog walkers are not only responsible for picking up the poop, they are responsible for supplying the bag for picking up the poop. The grocery store or whatever source supplies your plastic bags is not responsible for your dog duties. You are. You will have to start buying the bags. And, while you're at it, maybe think about buying the biodegradable ones, so that the poop can go back to the earth instead of being permanently enshrined in its own plastic repository.

Dear Frank, I appreciate your point, but the fact of the matter is that the reason we have this contentious tree debate is BECAUSE the Innis Arden Board wants it. They want to cut the trees for views and that's just reality. The Tree Board is being created to satisfy their litigation, which will result in more trees being cut.
The logo was designed by a person with VERY deep roots in Shoreline, who's family is deeply connected to the founding of our community. So, I think it's appropriate and proper. Sincerely, Janet

Thank you reminding us that most of the squirrels we see are not our native squirrels which are now living in isolated pockets. These squirrels are even more entertaining to observe than the now more common Eastern grays. This is one more example of why we need to work to repair the fragmentation of habitat mankind has imposed by creating wildlife corridors that reconnect our backyards with healthy plantings so our native animals can safely cross the landscape and repopulate.

First, the erosion in Innis Arden is run off from the top of the hill. I know because it comes roaring through my property from the hilltop. There should be retention ponds and
cisterns built at the top of the hill.

Beyond that, I wonder what you would consider a compromise. How can we keep our covenants and provide for our views as other cities do?

Innis Arden has been sued; we have not done the suing. Furthermore, we have developed a fair and equitable process for view maintenace that the Judge requested of us in the Binns case.

Thanks! They "get it" because of the PR nightmare and revenues going south. I hope folks will keep up the pressure and not let them squirm out of this without changing their actual "policies". In the statement above, the still didn't want to budge on those. And it's disturbing how fast the supporters are falling back into their arms. They are like abused children almost, wanting approval.
